Description
The Chelsea 489XAAHP-A3RA or 489XAAHPA3RA is a 489 Series power take-off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with an output power range of 46-55 HP. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft is available with keyway. Compatible transmissions include Eaton/Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
