Description
The Chelsea 489KLAHX-A3RB or 489KLAHXA3RB is an 8-bolt power take-off assembly from Chelsea’s 489 Series, designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt opening on manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. This unit uses wire/cable mechanical shift and features a 1-1/4″ round output shaft with keyway. Intermittent torque for the 489 Series is rated at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), matching the capacity of the 442 Series. Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
