Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GUAHX-V3XD or 489GUAHXV3XD, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing mounts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); shaft power output reaches 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with keyway. Compatible transmissions include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual units with an 8-bolt aperture. Internal components are common with the Chelsea 442 Series.
