Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GRITX-A5XK or 489GRITXA5XK, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, and Mack applications. Its one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft (with key option) is supported by tapered bearings for greater load-bearing capacity compared to needle-bearing designs.
