Description
The Chelsea 489GRITX-A3XK or 489GRITXA3XK is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec units. Its one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key. Intermittent torque for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft; shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output power falls in the 46-55 HP range. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series. Available with greaseable output options. Sold by Pro Gear and Transmission.
