Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GRAHX-A3RA or 489GRAHXA3RA, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening with a one-piece cast iron housing that eliminates the adapter plate and reduces potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM through a 1-1/4″ round output shaft. Shift actuation is wire/cable mechanical. Compatible transmissions include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability, and internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
