The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GQAHX-P3XK or 489GQAHXP3XK, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions using a one-piece cast iron housing that eliminates the need for an adapter plate. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), matching the 442 Series. Output is a 1-1/4″ round shaft with key, and the unit runs on pressure lube (“P” designation in this model). Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard, with an electric-over-air shift option also available in the series. Shaft power reaches 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
