Description
The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XPAJX-A3RB or 282XPAJXA3RB, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built for demanding continuous-duty applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and fits transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The 1-1/4″ round output shaft accepts a 5/16″ key. Shaft power output reaches 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 282 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (check application pages for actual torque ratings), making it well-suited for fuel oil delivery, towing and recovery, aerial, construction, and water truck service.
