Description
The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282XPAJX-13BV or 282XPAJX13BV, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift power take-off designed for demanding hydraulic and pneumatic shift applications. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft accepts a 5/16″ key and pairs with transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. The 282 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and an intermittent torque range of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output reaches 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. Optional Wet-Spline technology extends PTO and pump shaft service life, and the Smart Start option supports high-torque engagement. Common applications include aerial equipment, towing and recovery, construction equipment, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery.
