Description
The Chelsea 282GDAJX-V3BD or 282GDAJXV3BD is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift power take-off from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for continuous-duty torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft uses a 5/16″ key and delivers 29 HP at 500 RPM or 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built in. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other makes. Typical applications span aerial, construction equipment, towing and recovery, water trucks, and home fuel oil delivery.
