Description
The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GGFJW-B5RK or 281GGFJWB5RK, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly used on Allison transmissions. It is an evolution of the 280 Series, featuring a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and clutch pack steel disks that are 80% thicker to resist premature wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high-speed applications. Output options include SAE B and SAE C pump flanges, ISO 7652 flange, and driveline configurations. The Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) protects driven equipment, and the optional Wet Spline Lubrication provides 7 to 10 times greater shaft life. Sold by Pro Gear and Transmission.
