Description
The Chelsea 281GGFJR-D5AC or 281GGFJRD5AC is a 281 Series Power Take-Off Assembly designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison transmissions. This hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO mounts directly to the transmission and supports continuous operation with a single, continuous duty torque rating. The series features a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load, and an 80% thicker clutch pack steel disc design to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed demands. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and a Positive Stop feature on driveline outputs prevents oil seal damage.
