Description
The Chelsea 281GDFJP-D5SV or 281GDFJPD5SV is a hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 281 Series, designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. The 281 Series is an evolution of the 280 Series, adding a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% thicker clutch pack disc stack to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed applications. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference fit issues. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) and the SmartStart feature are available within the series. Sold by Pro Gear and Transmission.
