Description
The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off assembly, part number 281GCFJW-B5RY or 281GCFJWB5RY, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, most commonly Allison transmissions. An evolution of the 280 Series, it carries a continuous torque rating of 390 lb-ft (529 Nm) and delivers output power of 56 HP or more. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an 80% thicker clutch pack resists premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges.
