Description
The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XSESX-13RK or 272XSESX13RK, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO built for medium-duty truck and equipment applications. It mounts with a 6-bolt pattern and shifts via pneumatic (air) or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation, with an integral air control valve included. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round shaft with a 5/16″ key. Continuous torque capability for the 272 Series reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Output power runs 56+ HP (41-50 kW); at 1,000 RPM, shaft power is 57 HP (43 kW). Compatible transmission manufacturers include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM.
