Description
The Chelsea 272JSLLX-B8RK or 272JSLLXB8RK is a 272 Series medium-duty hot-shift power take-off built on a 6-bolt mounting pattern. It features a pneumatic/hydraulic PowerShift (air shift) with an integral air control valve and delivers a 1-1/4″ round output shaft with a 5/16″ key. Intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm), with continuous torque capability up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) – check application pages for actual torque ratings for your installation. The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates and replaces the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series medium-duty PTOs into a single, updated platform. The series offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options, giving it broad coverage across a wide range of truck and vocational equipment configurations. The optional Wet-Spline design extends service life for the PTO and pump shaft. For high-torque start-up conditions, the optional Smart-Start feature helps protect drivetrain components during engagement.
