The Meritor 20X2270 wheel stud is a headed wheel-end fastener with a right-hand thread and a serrated body that presses into the hub or drum to hold position during wheel mounting. It uses a 1-5/16-12 UN-2A thread with 12 threads per inch, a 1.3125 in. thread diameter, and a 2.41 in. thread length. The body measures 1.432 in. diameter over a 1.56 in. body length, with a serration diameter of 1.463 in. across a 0.50 in. serration length. The round head is 1.75 in. in diameter and 0.327 in. thick, and overall length under the head is 4-15/32 in. Grade 8 material. VMRS code 018-003-009.
