Description
The Chelsea 489XFAHX-A5XD or 489XFAHXA5XD is a wire/cable mechanical-shift power take-off from the 489 Series, designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key.
