Description
The Chelsea 489XLAHX-A3RB or 489XLAHXA3RB is a 2-gear PTO assembly from the 489 Series, designed to mount directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and others. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and outputs through a 1-1/4″ round shaft with key. The 489 Series carries the same intermittent torque rating as the 442 Series at up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), delivered through tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for stronger load bearing.
