Description
The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272NBAJP-B5RK or 272NBAJPB5RK, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO designed for medium-duty applications including towing and recovery, aerial equipment, construction, and water trucks. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with a 5/16″ key. Shift is pneumatic (PowerShift), and the assembly includes an integral air control valve. The 272 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent ratings in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
