Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XHAHX-H3XD or 489XHAHXH3XD, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path that adapter-style housings introduce. This unit uses wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key. Intermittent torque capacity is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); check Chelsea application pages for actual continuous torque ratings on your specific installation.
