The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XLAHX-A3GK or 489XLAHXA3GK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without requiring an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing is a defining feature of the 489 Series, eliminating the adapter plate that creates an extra leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and is rated for intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range for this series. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key suits a wide range of pump and accessory connections. Shaft power delivery reaches 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
