Description
The Chelsea 489XLAHX-A3AZ or 489XLAHXA3AZ is a 489 Series power take-off assembly for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting opening. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission face, removing the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard on this unit. Output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round shaft with keyway. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec.
