Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-W5XK or 489XFAHXW5XK, is an 8-bolt direct-mount PTO designed for manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM and carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft for the 489 Series. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
