Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-W5RB or 489XFAHXW5RB, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built around an 8-bolt, one-piece cast iron housing that mounts directly to the transmission opening on most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec units. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), matching the 442 Series rating. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft (with key) is supported by tapered bearings for greater load capability than needle-bearing designs. Shaft power output reaches 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
