Description
The Chelsea 282GGAJX-13XD or 282GGAJX13XD is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off assembly from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. This 8-bolt unit accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation and delivers output through a 1-1/4″ round shaft with a 5/16″ keyway. The 282 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) and a continuous torque capability of up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) — verify actual ratings on the application pages for your specific installation. The 282 Series is suited for aerial, construction equipment, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications. The series includes nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. Wet-Spline technology is available on direct-mount configurations to reduce wear on PTO and pump shafts. Driveshaft output configurations include a positive stop to prevent seal damage from driveshaft yokes.
