Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XFITX-V3XK or 489XFITXV3XK, is an 8-bolt direct-mount PTO for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission’s 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the adapter plate and its associated leak path. This unit shifts via wire/cable mechanical actuation and delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque, matching the capacity of the Chelsea 442 Series. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft accepts a key. Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
