Description
The Chelsea 282XBAJX-13BD or 282XBAJX13BD is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift PTO assembly from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for a wide range of vocational truck applications including aerial, construction equipment, towing and recovery, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery. It supports pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation and delivers continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) with intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round shaft with 5/16″ key. Shaft power output is rated at 29 HP (21 kW) at 500 RPM and 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM.
