Description
The Chelsea 489XHDAX-A5RB or 489XHDAXA5RB is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); check Chelsea application pages for the actual torque rating specific to your installation. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key. Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
