Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-X3GH or 489XFAHXX3GH, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec, no adapter plate required. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path while delivering the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque rating as the Chelsea 442 Series. Output is through a 1-1/4″ round shaft (with key option) and shaft power reaches 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The wire/cable mechanical shift keeps the installation straightforward. The Chelsea 489 Series PTO is suited for utility trucks, dump truck and trailer applications, snow and ice removal, and fire and rescue equipment.
