Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFITX-A3RB or 489XFITXA3RB, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft accepts a key. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
