Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-V5SQ or 489XFAHXV5SQ, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built on an 8-bolt mount that bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a common leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm). Output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key. Shaft power is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture.
