Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XLAHX-H5XK or 489XLAHXH5XK, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly designed to bolt directly to the 8-bolt opening on manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, Mack, and others, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) intermittent. Output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with continuous torque de-rated 30% from intermittent (see application pages for actual torque ratings).
