Description
The Chelsea 489XFAHX-T5RB or 489XFAHXT5RB is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft is keyed and intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm). Output power reaches 46-55 HP (31-40 kW), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmission manufacturers include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others.
