Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHAHX-A5RB or 489XHAHXA5RB, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec models. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission face, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); shaft power output runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers output through a 1-1/4″ round shaft with key. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
