Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XCAHX-M5AF or 489XCAHXM5AF, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. Wire/cable mechanical shift puts control at the operator’s fingertips. Output is a 1-1/4″ round shaft with key, and the 489 Series delivers shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Intermittent torque capacity for this series runs 201-300 lb-ft. Twenty-seven output options are available across the 489 family, including greaseable flange choices. Internal parts share commonality with the Chelsea 442 Series, simplifying parts stocking.
