The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XLAHX-M3XK or 489XLAHXM3XK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, Mack, and others. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. This unit delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1000 RPM, with output through a 1-1/4″ round shaft with key. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard, and tapered output bearings provide greater load-bearing capability than needle-bearing designs.
