Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XLAHX-A5XQ or 489XLAHXA5XQ, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. Wire/cable mechanical shift actuates the unit, and the 1-1/4″ round output shaft (with key) accepts a range of driven equipment. The 489 Series carries intermittent torque ratings in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
