Description
The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282GDAJX-13RS or 282GDAJX13RS, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift PTO designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. It features a 1-1/4″ round output shaft with a 5/16″ key and accepts either pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. Compatible transmission families include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, and Volvo/Mack, among others. Shaft power output reaches 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 282 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft – verify actual derating against your application. An integral air valve, rotatable flanges, and a Smart Start option for high-torque start-up set this unit apart in aerial, towing and recovery, construction, and fuel oil delivery applications.
