Description
The Chelsea 489XFAHX-A3GH or 489XFAHXA3GH is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening and eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); for continuous duty, de-rate the torque rating by 30% and verify on Chelsea application pages. Shaft power is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key accommodates a wide range of driven equipment.
