Description
The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XGDAX-A5XD or 282XGDAXA5XD, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built for demanding vocational applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and fits transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. Shift actuation is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round shaft with a 5/16″ key. Intermittent torque capacity runs 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm), with continuous-duty torque rated up to 300 lb-ft. Shaft power output reaches 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
