Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XCAHX-V3GB or 489XCAHXV3GB, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, and Mack without an adapter plate, eliminating a common leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) range – the series is rated at 250 lb-ft, matching the Chelsea 442 Series capacity. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and a 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key. Shaft power is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
