Description
The Chelsea 281GDKVW-B8RF or 281GDKVWB8RF is a 281 Series hydraulic hot-shift Power Take-Off designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. This series features a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load, and an 80% thicker steel clutch pack to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high-speed needs. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference issues with pump mounting, and a Positive Stop on driveline outputs eliminates oil seal damage from coupling. The Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times. SmartStart reduces shock load at start-up, and Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) protects driven equipment.
