Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XSEVX-A5XK or 489XSEVXA5XK, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly built for manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible applications. The one-piece cast iron housing mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series runs 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Output power is 46-55 HP (31-40 kW).
