Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XWAHX-V3GK or 489XWAHXV3GK, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on some installations, removing a potential leak path. Shift is wire/cable mechanical, and the 1-1/4″ round output shaft accepts a key. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM, scaling to 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
