Description
The Chelsea 489ZLDAX-A5XR or 489ZLDAXA5XR is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting opening, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible units. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and features a 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
