The Muncie A20-A1007-HX3BS or A20A1007HX3BS is a medium-duty, clutch shift power takeoff engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt interface and ships in three housing arrangements to match varied installation requirements. The shift cover rotates 360 degrees, and the rotatable pump flange simplifies hydraulic plumbing. Extended-length PTO mounting fasteners and increased chassis clearance make installation more straightforward than earlier designs. Tapered roller bearings and an enlarged output shaft diameter extend service life, while a maximized gear profile keeps noise low.
