Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XUITX-A6XK or 489XUITXA6XK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. Intermittent torque capacity for this series reaches 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); continuous torque is de-rated 30% from that figure – check application pages for actual ratings. Output is a 1-1/4″ round shaft with key, and shift is wire/cable mechanical. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
