Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489ZFITX-A5RA or 489ZFITXA5RA, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path at the mount face. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with a 1-1/4″ round output shaft. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the kit-style design simplifies field service.
