Description
Chelsea 489 Series PTO assembly, part number 489XUAHX-A3XD or 489XUAHXA3XD, is an 8-bolt power take-off designed to fit most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with keyway. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
